Chill Mood – Holidays – Music Video
2012 Best Wishes for a Happy Holiday and New Year!
Do you remember what you thought the year 2011 would bring you? What changes it will make in your life? As we make our New Year’s resolutions, we know that some of our desires will not come to fruition…but we also know that we will try our best to make things happen, and hope for every new year to be better than the previous.
With another year almost gone by, take a look back at 2011 and remember all the great things it brought you – even if you have to dig among the not-so-great ones to find them.
2011 was a very powerful year for many of us. From uprisings in Egypt and the Middle East, to financial crisis in Europe, to the “Occupy Wall St” movement in the US, the year has been challenging and eventful all around the globe. As all events carry with them both positive and negative implications, there were many that directly and indirectly affected our lives in one way or another.
Despite everything that went on in our lives over the course of the year, we know that before the year is up, we will get together with family and friends, “forget it all” and celebrate life in their company. After all, this is what the Holiday Season is all about.
Today, more than ever before, it is easy to connect with loved ones – even over long distances. An ancient saying “it’s a small world” resonates through many languages and was spoken long before the Internet era. It certainly rings true today, as all you need to stay connected with the rest of the world is a small device like an iPhone, which you can carry in your pocket everywhere you go.
With a tiny smart phone, not only will you stay informed on the latest news all around the world, but you can also chat face-to-face with a person on the opposite side of the globe. Wow…we are so used to this technology that we often forget how mind-blowing it is.
Back on the old days, imagine how difficult it was for couples in love to send letters to one another if one of them was abroad. It took months for them to get a letter, in which time so many changes could happen! Not only that, but often times mail got lost, which surely broke the hearts of many hopeful romantics. Today, however, there is email, instant messaging, and live chatting that connects men and women across the world – regardless of where they are spending their Holiday Season.
What is equally wonderful is how traveling has changed with the times. Modern train systems first appeared in Europe in the early 19th century, with commercial air travel first becoming available a little over 100 years later. Traveling overseas by boat took weeks, which made it prohibitive for many to vacation abroad. The great news is that today you can fly to almost any part of the world in a reasonably short period of time, which lets you experience new cultures and expand your horizons beyond those available to men and women less than a century ago.
Not only can you travel and sight-see the world for yourself, but you can also choose the best destinations by learning more about them ahead of time. Many TV Shows and Internet sites will tell you the pros and cons of each country’s hot tourist attractions, along with videos, pictures, interesting facts about each place, and safe travel tips.
Another great way to learn more about world travel is through mobile phone apps – if you haven’t seen the “Photographic Journey” with Aeron Photography, you must give it a try! It’s one of the best travel apps available in Apple’s iTunes App Store (worldwide), which uses beautiful photos and detailed articles to tell you about the best tourist destination spots around the world.
Whether you are traveling or staying at home this Holiday Season, remember how easy it is today to get in touch with people you care about most…Remember to reach out to everyone who is dear to you, and remind them of why they are special to you, and tell them how much you love them. This, by far, will be the best gift of all!
And as you get ready to leave 2011 behind and get a fresh start on life in 2012, remember that “All changes in life are positive or negative, what makes it so, is your choice…” Happy Holidays!

The word “sanctuary” can be defined as a “sacred,” safe, intimate place where one can be alone with their thoughts – relaxing, meditating, or pondering the meaning of existence. It’s not the place where you get motivated and fired up about life…On contrary, in your own private Sanctuary you detach yourself from everything else around you and take a look inside, organize your thoughts, and just for a little while – live at a slower pace.
Do you have a Sanctuary? What is, exactly, a Sanctuary? In simple terms, it can either be a physical place, or a state of mind…and sometimes - it’s both. A Sanctuary is where you go to feel at peace with yourself and your thoughts, where you can relax and feel joy, uninterrupted by anything else in the world.
Having a Sanctuary allows you to refresh your mind and view things from a lighter perspective. Here, your thoughts run free, and energy fills your body as you are letting go of all your worries. This is where you can feel at ease with yourself, give your troubles a rest, and allow yourself to get back in touch with the deepest corners of your soul.
You can find your Sanctuary everywhere around you – while taking a long walk, sitting in a serene corner of your garden, practicing yoga, watching a sunrise in the wee hours of the morning, or whatever else you enjoy doing.
I find my Sanctuary in nature – when I am hiking, walking next to a stream, listening to the sounds of water and the rustling of leaves in the wind. I hear the birds singing all around me, and feel the fresh air filling my chest. This gives me energy and a renewed hope in life, my thoughts slow down a bit, and I can finally gain a new perspective on things that concern me most.
You can also be in your Sanctuary by listening to relaxing music while you are doing something else. When you listen to music, it stimulates your mind and produces a completely different thought pattern than what you are normally accustomed to. That is why soft, relaxing tunes go well with massages, yoga exercises, and meditation. Bring in into your Sanctuary if you really want to get away from the fast pace of life for a little while.
If you’ve never tried this before – set some time aside for being alone with yourself in your Sanctuary. Get to know YOU – I bet you are an exciting and unique individual, and there are depths to your character that even you are not aware of. Being in your Sanctuary will allow your imagination to flow freely and make some of your best ideas to come up to the surface.
Each time, as you collect your thoughts and let your soul relax, you will find that you are enjoying life a whole lot more, because you are not drained of energy from stress and worry. Things will appear clearer and you will find solutions to many of your problems.
In your Sanctuary, you really go on a spiritual journey where you explore your mind and different ideas it produces. Your Sanctuary allows you to be alone with your thoughts, and therefore, to get to know, and “understand” yourself better. In the end, not only will you be more relaxed and happy, but wiser too.
As Jiddu Krishnamurti once said: “When we talk about understanding, surely it takes place only when the mind listens completely – the mind being your heart, your nerves, your ears – when you give your whole attention to it.” So, give your undivided attention to yourself, understand your mind and your thoughts, relax, and enjoy life!

Chill Mood Living
“I am an old man and have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened.” – Mark Twain
Stress and worry – our two worst enemies which stand in the way of success, particularly when it comes to finding some peace and harmony in life. Worrying never solves problems, and as our wise friend Mark Twain put it – most of your troubles will never happen…so why worry?
Stressful thinking originates in the deep, dark corners of the brain. It produces depressing ideas that put us in a miserable mood, from where we see only the worst side of our problems. But turn your thinking around, and you magically start seeing good luck and great things coming your way!
When you feel happy, your spirits are lifted, and you have new ideas and fresh thoughts flowing through your mind. Whatever life throws your way, you can handle it – bring it on! But even beyond that – you are not stressing over about what may happen to you. You know in your heart that things will turn out just fine.
Words would be wasted on this topic if there wasn’t a solution to the problem of stress and worry. And it’s a simple one too…just relax!
There is nothing better than having a chill attitude through life. You are aware of what’s going on around you, but you don’t worry about things that haven’t happened yet, and you don’t automatically assume the worst in any situation.
We worry about many things – what people say, what they do, what they think of us, what we think of them, our weight, our finances, our health, our kids, the way we dress, the way we look, and the list goes on. Take away even some of these worries, and life suddenly becomes much better and brighter, and full of meaning.
How do you relax? If, for example, you were asked what you do when you just want to chill, what would you say?
The truth is that if you take the time to relax, it will ultimately lead to having a whole new “chill attitude” in life, where things won’t bother you like they used to. This new attitude will not only make you feel better about yourself, but will also have a positive effect on those around you. You’ll have the energy and desire to do new things, to move forward, to improve, build, create!
One of the easiest ways to chill is by listening to soothing and gentle music, which relaxes all your senses and carries away your troubles. Easy-going melodies, especially when paired with a relaxing activity, can do wonders for you – just try it and see!
Think of what you’d enjoy doing most while listening to chill music, and then do it. Everything from painting, writing, meditating, walking, practicing yoga, laying on a hammock in your back yard, baking, and whatever else you may enjoy doing – put on some chill music and let it heal you from all the worries of the world. You will see that this, more than anything else, will exhilarate your soul and bring out the best YOU that you can be!
